UtilitiesTVHC is working with RuralClick to offer our member halls the opportunity to reduce their energy costs.Utilities generally represent a substantial part of village halls expenditure and therefore any reductions available are welcomed. Many halls however, are still paying far higher rates than necessary, as they simply do not have the resources or time to research the market and understand all of the different options available to them. LSI has been established in the utility industry for over fourteen years, making them one of the first companies to set up within this market. They therefore have the experience and knowledge necessary to best represent their clients via their successful working relationships with the majority of suppliers nationally. LSI clients have included/include British Red Cross, Cancer Research UK, Hanover Housing, Arcadia Group: (Burton, Dorothy Perkins, Evans, Miss Selfridge, Outfit, Topshop, Topman, Wallis), Pizza Express, Tottenham Hotspur F.C and many others. As part of their business service, they offer a comprehensive analysis of halls current gas and electricity expenditure. Their findings together with recommendations are passed back to the group – with whom the final decision rests. Should they decide to proceed with the recommendations, the individual halls will notice no change or interruption to their supplies, neither will there be any change to the way the halls are receiving emergency services and maintenance, which are dealt with by Transco or their Regional Electricity Company. Allowing LSI to review current utility expenditure is not only advantageous because of the in-depth account analysis they undertake, their clients are also guaranteed to obtain the best prices as a result. LSI would be looking to formulate a countrywide group buying scheme for village halls, whereas individual halls their energy spend is minimal but as a group buying scheme the economy of power would allow LSI to negotiate the most competitive rates available that they would not be able to achieve in their own right. There are no direct charges made for their services as all suppliers pay a fee, which is taken into account when each contract is priced. A further point to consider in addition to price is that LSI will continue to deal directly with the supplier to provide the after sales support clients may require for any billing or account issues that may arise from time to time, therefore leaving them free to deal with running their village halls.
