It is possible to attain a TEN for a separate room in the hall; this means you can increase the number of TENs to be used, e.g., for a small event, you may decide to use the supper room, instead of the large hall, this means you can apply for that room only leaving you the possibility of applying for a further 12 TENs for the large hall. One person can only apply for 5 TENs in one year (if you hold a Personal Licence you can apply for up to 50) One of your original notices will be returned endorsed by Teesdale District Council before the event takes place, this notice needs to be prominently displayed at the venue. Please read the accompanying notes with TENs, as these give details on length, and capacity of events. Remember that the opening and closing times of events need to tally with your original premises licence, e.g. If you stated in your premises licence that your closing time on a Sunday is 11pm, then your TEN will have to be the same. Information about applying for TEN's can be found on www.teesdale.gov.uk , downloadable application forms are also available. |
