Paint available for Community and Voluntary Groups
First published: 25 July 2007, 14:12 Are you thinking of redecorating your premises but the cost of buying brand new materials is putting you off? Have you thought about getting your paint from Community RePaint to keep the costs down? Community RePaint is a national paint reuse project and has over 65 schemes across the UK. Last year they collected over 235,000 litres of paint which is available for redecoration projects at a very small donation or free-of-charge. A brand new website www.communityrepaint.org.uk has been launched to make it easier for local communities, charities and voluntary organisations to find where their nearest Community RePaint scheme is. The scheme nearest Teesdale is Community Repaint Bishop Auckland. It is run by the Seymour Trust and the contact is Chris Jones, Unit B5, Romanway Industrial Estate, Tindale Crescent, Bishop Auckland, Co. Durham DL19 9AW.
