Trusthouse Charitable FoundationThe Trusthouse Charitable Foundation was formed out of a trust operated by the Council of Forte plc which inherited investments in the Granada Group. The Foundation was registered with the Charity Commissioners in 1997. Its objects are such general charitable purposes as the Trustees in their discretion may from time to time determine. The Foundation currently distributes over £2 million each year. The average grant awarded by the Foundation is £5,000. The Foundation currently makes over 300 grants a year of which the majority are small grants (averaging £5,000). A small number of larger grants (i.e. over £10,000) are awarded each year. The Foundation offers grants under two separate programmes: The Small Grant Programme (capital and revenue grants)
