Grassroots GrantsThe Grassroots Grants programme is managed by the Community Development Foundation and funded by the Office of the Third Sector. In County Durham the programme is managed by the County Durham Community Foundation. The purpose of this programme is to support small, informal voluntary and community groups/organisations to develop their capacity and provide them with the ability to respond to their community's needs. The grants provided can support capital or revenue purchases. The maximum grant is £5,000 and the minimum grant is £250.
