Eggleston Village Hall

Eggleston Village Hall - Main Shot

The Village
Eggleston is a small picturesque village with beautiful views of the Teesdale landscapes. The village has been designated a Conservation Area in order to protect its character.

The Hall

The village hall was built in 1887 by the London Lead Company as a Mechanics Institute reading and lecture room. The clock featured on the outside of the building was installed in remembrance to those who fell in World War II. The hall has recently been refurbished with a new main hall floor and panelling around the walls.
The size and layout of Eggleston Village Hall make it an ideal choice for private and business functions and for any group who need a remote private location for interviews or uninterrupted meetings.

The hall is available for hire for:

• Meetings/Seminars
• Corporate Events
• Small Conferences
• Stage Productions and Concerts
• Training
• Rehearsals
• Parties
• Functions
• Sports Classes
• Fairs and Sales
• Social Events

Regular activities ongoing in the hall include aerobics and toning, yoga, circle dancing, a bridge club and carpet bowls.
