Teesdale is well connected to the major road networks by the A66 leading to the A1M at Scotch Corner, to the M6 at Tebay (Junction 38) and to the A68 road to Scotland. Teesdale can be accessed from Bishop Auckland by the A688 and from Darlington by the A67.
